Eric Hanauer is a widely published writer and photographer specializing in the underwater world. Author of three books and over five hundred articles, his work has appeared in posters, magazines, books, and CD's, on subjects ranging from travel to diving history, instruction to equipment.

 

Michael C. Barnette is the Founder and Director of the Association of Underwater Explorers (http://www.mikey.net/aue), a coalition of divers dedicated to the research, exploration, documentation, and preservation of submerged cultural resources.  Employed as a marine ecologist with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), he recently published "Shipwrecks of the Sunshine State: Florida’s Submerged History", which offers an extensive and comprehensive cross-section of Florida shipwreck narratives.

 

David Prichard takes every opportunity to travel the world in search of interesting photo and video subjects as president of Enchanted Sea Images, Inc.  When he is not sharing his enthusiasm for the underwater world as a scuba instructor, David writes about his exploration experiences in a number of magazines.  A member of the Southwest Underwater Archaeology Society, he enjoys discovering and researching historical wrecks, such as the ones in his article in this issue on Truk Lagoon.
